Yep, not much in terms of news going on here. Still chuggin’ along with flash games, trying to get as many sponsorships as I can. Classes are meh. Pretty easy, just a few papers to write here and there.
I found a program called DC++ which allows you to share files over whatever network you’re on with anyone else who has DC++. I’ve been using it to get music, movies, and TV shows from other people which is totally bitchin’ since I was finally able to finish Heroes. Can’t wait for season 2.
As far as video games goes the only one I’m playing now is Diablo 2. I have a lvl 70 Sorceress and will be starting an Amazon soon. It’s not too late to join me in the fight against the lord of destruction! Come onnnn, you know you want to.
That’s about it for this post. The main reason I decided to post at all is because of this. Very clever, and quite funny.

I can hardly believe I’ve been here for a month already. It honestly doesn’t seem like that long. This is going to be the shortest 4 months of my life.
Pyrotec 2 ended up getting a $600 sponsorship (woohoo!) and will be posted sometime this week (once I get my payment). I’ve already finished another game, working on a third, and trying to collaborate with a friend of mine (Josh Gale) for a fourth. This will be a most excellent source of income. I love the internets.
Turns out my immune system hates Australia, as I’m sick again. I can’t remember the last time I’ve been sick twice in a month, but lo and behold, here I am, sick as a dog.
Last night in Melbourne I went to see the band Ok Go. If you don’t know who they are, Check it. I only know two of their songs: Here It Goes Again and Get Over It, so I didn’t know what to expect coming in. They put on a good show. The lead singer got pissed that his guitar wasn’t working so he hurled it on the stage, snapping the neck in half. Awesome. The venue was small, only a few hundred people, and wasn’t even full. Unfortunately they didn’t have any treadmills on stage. Bummer.
I was finally able to drop the class I wanted to drop. Now instead of classes 5 days a week, I’m down to a mere 3. Which, of course, means more freetime for Flash, Diablo 2, Stargate, etc. Speaking of Stargate, I’ve sunk my teeth into the first couple of episodes, and they were alright. Nothing spectacular yet, but promising.
Next Saturday I’m going to another concert, Destiny Reunion, which will rock all sorts of shit. I can’t wait.
To end this post, a small glimpse of how messy and unorganized I am.

Just a quick update on what’s going on over here.
Started classes last Monday. As of now I have classes 5 days a week, but if I’m able to drop a class then it’ll be 3 days. Hopefully I can drop it, but I doubt I’ll be able to.
Getting over a cold that seems to have swept all the international students. I swear it’s jumping from one person to the next like some sort of virus….wait…
Because most of my entertainment that I enjoyed at home stayed at home (videogames, TV, GOOD internet) I have a lot of free-time on my hands. What do I do with it? Well…I’m not exactly sure yet. I’ve been spend the time watching TV shows that I haven’t seen yet (My Name Is Earl, Heroes, and probably Stargate SG-1 next). I’ve also started making Flash games again, which takes a good chunk of time to do and will keep me busy for a while. Currently I’m making Pyrotec 2 (play the first here), which is a much more ambitious project. It’s more of the same, only much prettier.
That’s about it for now. Time to code some more.

Here are a few pics of the campus I’m currently living on. The school isn’t very big, and this campus is one of 4 in the state. There is a lot of construction going on.

The main enclosure, where things happen.

Deakin Central.

My campus is called Waurn Ponds, for obvious reasons.
So yeah, that’s really about it.

So after tackling season 2 of My Name Is Earl, I decided to move to Heroes. I’ve heard nothing but goodness from it, so I had to check it out.
The good news: Heroes fucking rocks my socks.
The bad news: Gedeon didn’t have all the episodes on his computer when I snagged them from him at the last LAN. So I’m stuck at episode 18…and I NEED to know what happens. The thing is, it’ll cost me about $10 to download each one soooooooo that’s out of the question. What is a poor boy to do?
